WOMEN'S IPL 2020

 The women's IPL 2020 will start on November 4

The IPL 2020 is currently being played in the UAE, but in the meantime, the BCCI has also announced the dates and teams for the IPL. The three-team Women's T20 Challenge will be played in the UAE from November 4 to 9.

Players from England, South Africa, West Indies, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will also take part in the tournament. The Thailand batter, Natthakan Chantham, who smashed her first women’s T20 World Cup half-century, also earned a selection in this season. She will become the first Thai cricketer to participant in the tournament. However, Australian women players will not be able to take part this season because the Australian Women's Big Bash League will be held there at that time. The Women’s BBL will commence from the 25th of October and continue until the 29th of next month.

The BCCI has announced the names of three teams for the women's IPL. While Smriti Mandhana has been given the captaincy of the Trailblazers, Mitali Raj is the captain of the Velocity team. Supernovas is led by Harmanpreet Kaur,who is the also captain of the Indian T20 team. All the teams seem to be balanced enough, which is why this tournament is going to be exciting enough.

Everyone has to reach the United Arab Emirates by the third week of October. After that, every cricketer from home and abroad will have to stay in quarantine for six days in their own hotel room. On the first, third and fifth day, the players will be tested for COViD-19 at the team hotel. Those who test negatively for these three tests will be allowed to practice after six days.
