Experience tells at right time, right way. Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel's drive through slippery track of Turkish Grand Prix pretty much proves that. Round 14th of the FIA World Championship in Turkey is probably the best race of the season.
Lance Stroll became 3rd Canadian in F1 history to start the race from pole position and 1st since 1997. This Turkish Grand Prix is gone very well for team Racing Point. In qualifying session on Saturday Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez made some incredible moves on tricky track of Intercity Istanbul Park. Lance Stroll came first with the fastest lap and Sergio Perez came third. Red Bull's Max Verstappen looked very good in all practice sessions and he came second in qualifying race.
First lap of the racing day went extreme dramatic. Stroll and Perez started well and took early lead. Lewis Hamilton from sixth made a great move to come over Max Verstappen and Alex Albon. Two Renault drivers Ricciardo and Ocon hit each other, Ricciardo somehow able to continue his race but Ocon went out of the track and Bottas suffered too as he was just behind Ocon and both drivers found spinning. Vettel starting from twelfth position took the chance and passed away almost six drivers and in second lap he was driving at fourth. Ferrari’s other driver Charles Leclerc was suffering and he was the first driver to take pit stop. Max Verstappen was chasing hard , he was just behind Sergio Perez after third lap, and other side Vettel and Hamilton were very close, Vettel was slightly ahead of him.

All the drivers stopped in pit lane very early. Charles Leclerc recovered himself and was able to enter in top five in the race. Lance Stroll failed to continue at first, Max Verstappen lost his place, while chasing Perez he once goes out and Vettel, Hamilton and Albon passed away. Vettel and Hamilton were driving very intelligently. Hamilton was able to lead the race finally and he came first at Turkish Grand Prix. He was clear 31.6 seconds ahead of second placed Sergio Perez.
The last lap of the race was intense. The fight for second , third and fourth turned out to a very dramatic situation. Those three positions were decided at the last two corners of the last lap. Leclerc chased down Perez and took second place at first corner but he went out of track while turning the final corner and Perez and Vettel easily passed away. Perez and Vettel both got the podium for the first time in this season.
Lewis Hamilton’s dream run is just going on. He touches the record of Michael Schumacher of holding seven world championship titles. He earned his 94th career win. Michael Schumacher was definitely the Genius but Hamilton is very much consistent and he is still hunting.
Hamilton is 35 now, and looking very much focused. Undoubtedly he is the first choice for next season’s World Championship. He drives the fastest car of the track, but when are you in a situation like Turkish, you have to use your vast experience to win it, and Lewis proves that always.
