EMINENT PLAYERS ARE PLAYING IN THE RULE OF ' GULLY CRICKET': EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE IN 2020

     It is  very common thing in today’s life that 4/5  kids are playing cricket on road or on footpath and one is batting other is bowling and rest of the players are busy in fielding or keeping . This type of game is become very common which is mostly known as ' Gully Cricket '. It is an emotion for true cricket lover because with this they had been grown up actually. In this day when new construction project snatched away our playground and video games moved the playing mentality of the kids from the playground to mobile video game , this forms of so called short versioned cricket is very common in city or its suburb area. But can we imagine this is going to be happening in real and the protagonists of the play are Yuvi or Universe Boss?

 

  Obviously not?

But it is happening for real. The new Indoor cricket tournament ULTIMATE KRIKET CHALLENGE (UKC) is going to make it possible. This is a new tournament which will be taking place from 24 Dec to Jan 1. 6 players will play against each other in 1st ever P vs P format of cricket.  Those main Six players participating are Yuvraj Singh, Eoin Morgan, Kevin Pietersen, Andre Russell, Chris Gayle, Rashid Khan. In a single word all of the stalwarts of T20 format will play against each other. The rules of this format is totally new which resembles the peculiar rules of our Gully cricket. 

The rules are:-

1.       The league consist 15 matches, each of the match will take place with 4 innings where each innings consists 15 balls. Here one single team means one single player. Beside bowler and batsman there will be 1 fielder and 1 keeper under UKC domes. But they are only helper

2.        There will be 5 scoring zone A and B contains 1 run. C, D, E contain 2, 3, 4 runs respectively. If batsman directly hit the shot to zone E without a bounce he will score 6 runs and hitting in bulls-eye contains 12 runs and bulls eye shot of square of the wicket will score 4 runs .

3.       If a batsman lose his wicket, 5 runs will be deducted.

4.        Let’s come the peculiar rule of bowling. Every bouncer bowling will be counted as a no ball and the next ball will be a free hit simultaneously. Each no ball contains 1 run penalty. A bowler can bowl maximum 8 balls and while a sub player can bowl 7 balls. 

5.       Batsman can gain run(s) only after they complete a physical run .

6.        Winning Team will get 2 points. Lastly top 4 player will play the knock out semi final round while final will be played between winners of SF 1 and 2.

  Well I start the article with the instance of playing gully cricket with 3/4  kids with their own peculiar rules . This instances going to be possible in the last week of Dec 2020. All match will take place from Dubai in 9:30 PM IST on STAR SPORTS NETWORK.  Every thing is possible in 2020. Just like UKC a new tournament – a new feather on the cap of fantasy league. After the IPL fever cricket lover will definitely enjoy this new format with the legends of T20 cricket.
