The inaugural match of belated EURO 2020 will be played between Turkey and Italy from Group A.
Along with two of them Group A also consists of Switzerland and Wales.
Italy’s current FIFA ranking is 7, best in the group while Turkey ranks 29, worst in the group. In EURO Italy was champion in their first appearance in 1968, while being runners in 2000 and 2012. Turkey’s best show came in 2008 when they reached semi-finals.

Team Prediction:
Italy normally arranges them in 4-3-3 formation. Donnarumma between the bars and Florenzi, Bonucci, Chiellini and Spinazzola looks settle back four. Barella and Locatelli are likely to start with Jorginho at defensive mid. Their most prolific goal scorer in the team, Ciro Immobile with 13 goals will surely play as main striker with Berardi and Insigne in flanks. Though Bernardeschi and Cheisa may get a nod, but still looks unlikely to start.
Turkey familiar on 4-1-4-1 formation has Cakir at goal. Kabak and Soyuncu at CB with Celik and Meras as fullback are most likely to start leaving Demiral at Bench. Yokslu, Yazici, Tufan, Calhanoglu and Karaman make the midfield with their all time 2nd highest goal scorer Yilmaz (29 goals) upfront.
Players to watch out for:
Keep an eye on Yilmaz, Calhanoglu and Soyuncu for Turkey and Donnaruma, Immobile and Spinazzola for Italy.
