International matches have always been a battle worth watching. Last week we saw some international clashes worth watching. Firstly it was Netherlands vs. Spain it ended with 1-1 on score board, it was indeed a mouthwatering match with superb Spanish attacks. Spain took the lead on 18th minute of the game with Canales scoring for Spain. Till half time we saw some fresh legs coming up for Netherlands though they were unable to score the equalizer, at 49th minute Netherland conceded their equalizer with the assistance ofo.Wijndal which was scored by Van de Beek . The match ended 1-1.
Next on the list was
Italy and Estonia, though fully one sided, it was good to see Italy back to
their old form, as we all missed Italy in the world cup but now looking at
their current performances it would not be a mistake to have high expectations
in the future, the match ended 4-0, two goals in the first half and two in the
second half scored by V.Grifo (2) ,Bernardeschi and Orsolini .
Up next was Belgium and Switzerland , it was the real clash
of titans with some awesome attaks from
both sides . Switzerland took an early lead at 12th minute of the
game with a powerful goal from Mehmedi .Belgium scored their equilizer at 49th
minute and scored the winning goal at 70th minute both scored by Batshuayi.
Though Switzerland lost the game but the match was a worth watching one.
Last but not the least , it was Portugal vs. Andorra. As
expected it was fully dominated by Portugal ,
it ended with a huge scoreline of
7-0 .It was good to see Ronaldo showing same level of fitness even after
his illness. The seven goals were scored by Pedro, Paulimho(2),Sanches, Garcia,
Ronaldo and Fleix.
