Kolkata girl signed for Madrid football club

 After Aditi Chauhan and Bala Devi, Brishti Bagchi, another Indian girl footballer, signed to play in the European Professional League. She signed in a famous women's football club in Madrid named C.D.C. Moscardo. The club official tewitted "CDC Moscardo signs Brishti Bagchi for the upcoming season."

Although Bristhi was originally from Behala in Kolkata, she grew up in Bangalore. Both their parents are involved in teaching at the Indian Statistical Institute.She is the first Bengali footballer to achieve this feat.

Earlier, Delhi's Aditi Chauhan had played for West Ham United and Manipur's Bala Devi in a Scottish Club named Rangers. The 26-year-old took up football training at SAI in Bangalore in her childhood days. Then she moved to America for study. For 7-8 years he studied kinesiology at the University of Oklahoma. Then she joined the University of North Texas. But she did not give up playing football. She played college football and from there she became a professional footballer. And from there she grew up her dream to playing in a European club.


Last year she came back India to play Women's I-League for Bengaluru United. After that she moved to play in a Spanish club De Football Feminin. There Brishti gave a trial for more than one month. But the club told her to taken trial for more few months. But it was not possible for her to stay there in her own cost. So she could not play in that club anymore. In this year she tried once again to went in Spain for trial but Corona stood on the way of her journey. She could not go anywhere. But, after waiting a long time Spanish club C.D.C. Moscardo gave her to the opportunity to play in their club.
