Karolína Plíškova kick starts her 2021 season with a new coach

 Karolína Plíšková, WTA no.6 is set to start her new season with her new coach, Sascha Bajin.

 

The Czech published a photograph on her official Instagram account captioned “Team Plíšková” featuring herself along with her coach Bajin accompanied by her fitness coach Azuz Simich.

 

The 36 year old German coach Bajin has also coached Naomi Osaka. Under his guidance she won back to back grand slams in 2018 and in 2019 at the US Open and Australian Open respectively. Bajin has also win the WTA Coach of The Year in 2018.He has also previously worked with stars like Serena Williams, Kristina Mladenovic and Dayana Yastremsha.

 

Recently it made the headlines that Plíšková’s coach Dani Valvarde was sacked earlier this month. The former World’s No.1 won her first tournament of the season in Brisbane. She also reached the Finals in Rome in September  where she eventually lost to World’s No. 2 Simona Halep.
