WTA NEWCOMER PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2020

 

                                  2020 WTA AWARDS NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED

Finally , WTA Newcomer of The Year sees Nadia Podoroska , the Argentinean who creates history , become the female qualifier to advance to the semi-final of any Grand Slam in the last 21 years at the Roland Garros 2020 and claim her ranking 131th to 47^th . She is the favorite to win this award . Also Martina Trevisan the Italian also reached the quarter finals at the Roland Garros 2020 as a qualifier . Canadian teenager Leylah Fernandez and American Ann Li are also nominated in this category .
